
Former Yerevan Investigative Committee Head Released from Detention
John Farkhoyan, the former Chief of Yerevan’s Investigative Committee arrested on February 5 in connection with a bribery case, has been released.
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction today approved an appeal filed by Farkhoyan’s lawyers to have their client released from detainment, this according to Hetq court sources.
Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office and the National Security Service have nor commented on Farkhoyan’s release.
