Armenia says it is taking steps to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus into the ranks of the military.

The country’s Ministry of Defense, in a statement released today, says that thermometry checkpoints have been set up at military bases and that those allowed in must wear masks.

The ministry says it has temporarily canceled scheduled medical examinations and care in its facilities for family members of military service personnel and disabled vets.
