The Armenian military today repelled an attempted Azerbaijani incursion directed at Armenian army outposts near Noyemberyan in the province of Tavush.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that two Armenian servicemen were lightly wounded in the attack that targeted the Armenian villages of Beghanis and Voskevan.

One 14-year-old Armenian wounded in the incident has been hospitalized in stable condition, this according to Voskevan Mayor Vladimir Ghazinyan.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has condemned the incursion as an unacceptable Azerbaijani provocation during the ongoing coronavirus medical emergency.
