Arayik Harutyunyan has been elected the next president of Artsakh.

The Artsakh Central Electoral Commission says that Harutyunyan won 84.5% of the vote in yesterday’s election.

Masis Mayilyan, his sole opponent in the second-round election, garnered 11.5% of the votes.

Voter turnout was 45.58%.
