Armenia: State Prosecutor Diagnosed with Covid-19

A prosecutor in one of the departments of Armenia’s Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has been diagnosed with Covid-19 and is currently receiving appropriate treatment.

In a conversation with Hetq, Arik Khachatryan, who heads the PGO’s Public Relations Department told Hetq that the prosecutor's condition is good.

Khachatryan said that the circle of people in contact with the prosecutor is known and that his family members have been isolated.

The prosecutor’s colleagues, with whom he had contact, are in self-isolation.

"For a long time now, most of the employees, including the prosecutors, have been working under the conditions of self-isolation at their place of residence or actual location. And all employees coming to work have their temperatures checked every day.  The administrative buildings of the PGO are disinfected regularly. The last disinfection was carried out was this weekend. In addition, all employees and offices are provided with alcogel or other disinfectants,” said Khachatryan.
