Armenian, Indian Foreign Ministers Discuss Coronavirus Challenges
Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan telephoned his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, yesterday and the two touched upon the challenges of the spread of the new coronavirus as well as steps taken to address socio-economic issues at the national level.
The ministers, according to a statement released by the Armenian foreign ministry, called for international cooperation in the fight against the epidemic, including mutual assistance, exchange of experience, and the transfer of citizens, especially students, to their homeland freely and safely.
The two also discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, reaffirming their readiness to continue effective cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
