The Armenian government will pay 300,000 AMD (US$628) to the remaining 287 Great Patriotic (WWII) veterans residing in Armenia.

The one-time payment is to reward the vets on the 75th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in the war.

The veterans already receive a monthly payment of 100,000 drams ($209).
