Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reports that Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, visited military units located in the south-west of the country on May 14 to inspect military preparedness and other conditions in the border zone.

The ministry says Davtyan issued instructions to local commanders to raise the efficiency level of combat duty.
