Activists at Mashtots Park have called of their round-the-clock vigil that had lasted for over one month.

Minutes ago, staffers from the RA Human Rights Defender’s Office were at the park in addition to representatives from the United States Embassy.

There was a tense stand-off between the activists and police.

Cops had surrounded a few of the activists who, wishing to prevent a full blown scuffle, called off their vigil.
