In a response to public criticism directed at the police for the tactics they employed to break up a protest vigil in Mashtots Park yesterday, the RA Police now says it will hold a roundtable tomorrow to discuss the matter.

The police claim that their actions were legal and wholly justified and have labelled reports in the press as “contradictory”.

The public statement issued by the police says that it values the opinions of the public even when there are disagreements, and that it is ready and willing to discuss what took place.

Tomorrow’s roundtable will be held at the RA Police Department at 130 Nalbandyan Street at 4:30pm.
