Wounded Armenian Soldiers Doing Better, Except for One in Serious Condition, Says Defense Ministry Rep

Armenian Ministry of Defense representative Artsrun Hovhannisyan, at a press conference today in Ijevan, said that calm mostly reigned along Armenia’s border with Azerbaijan last night, shattered only by some sporadic small arms fire.

Hovhannisyan said the downing of an Azerbaijani drone over Artsakh airspace doesn’t signify that the fighting has moved from Armenia’s Tavush border area to Karabakh.

He said that foreign media representatives are expected to visit the border settlements of Tavush today.

All Armenian soldiers wounded in the recent fighting are showing signs of improvement except one who remains in serious condition, Hovhannisyan said.

He did not mention the exact number of those wounded.
