The Syunik branch of Armenia’s Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources has fined Losema CJSC, a company that operates the Tsav hydro-electric plant, 750,000 drams ($1,545) after an inspection revealed that the water meter installed at the water intake point was not sealed and that the plant was using more water than permissible from the river.
