Sevan National Park employees converged on Lake Sevan’s White Shorzha recreation area and proceeded to dismantle illegal huts and other structures tied to Artyom Melkumyan, a friend of Im Kayl (My Step) MP Hayk Sargsyan.

Hetq wrote about the illegal commercial activity at the beach in a July 31 article entitled Claims and Counterclaims: Illegal Use of Lake Sevan Beachfront by Friend of MP Hayk Sargsyan.

Melkumyan, as far as Hetq has been able to ascertain, has never leased the land from the Park.

Sargsyan was spotted at a July 26 party at White Shorzha.

After getting wind of the July 26 party at White Shorzha, the government’s State of Emergency Command Center closed all eateries at the site on July 29 for two weeks.
