Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan has approved a recommendation by the Ministry of Defense to award Captain Armenak Urfanyan, killed during the April 2016 “Four Day War”, the title of “Hero of Artsakh”, the country’s highest state award.

"There were many discussions about Armenak Urfanyan's selfless and patriotic behavior at the time. I think the best decision will be to mark his heroism on Artsakh Republic Day. I will confirm it with love and pride,” President Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page.
