Frayed Nerves at the Parliament: Who's On the Ballot?

On March 18, the ruling Republican Party issued the list of names that will be included in its proportional ballot. Many were shocked and dismayed to see the names that appeared or were left out.

Some “old” Republican Party MP’s failed to make the grade – Rafik Petrosyan, Mkrtich Minasyan, Gagik Melikyan, Hovhannes Sahakyan.

Even Heghineh Bisharyan, a top Rule of Law MP, was in a tizzy about the party’s list. But I couldn’t get to her and ask what had made her so mad.

Bisharyan was receiving guests in her office while legislation was being debated in the parliamentary chambers.

Discussions were taking place in the corridors of the National Assembly as well.

I saw ARF and Prosperous Armenian Party MP’s huddled in circles and evidently nervous. Their parties had yet to publish their election tickets.

Watch the video. There's no dialogue just the visual.
