Armenian Parliament Debates Bill to Obligate Municipal Council Members to File Financial Disclosures
The Armenian parliament today discussed a bill that would expand the number of officials obligated to file financial disclosures.
Municipal Council members of communities with populations of 15,000 or more would have to file disclosures if the bill passes.
The bill would also allow the Ethics Comittee to demand revenue and property disclosures from officials for up to two years after leaving their post.
Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan introduced the bill.
