Armenian Ambassador to Russia: “We haven’t petitioned CSTO yet”

Armenia’s Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanyan told the TASS news agency today that while Armenia has not yet petitioned the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) regarding the fighting along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border,   all options are being discussed.

"Most likely, Azerbaijan, by striking at the territory of Armenia, wants to pull us in to yet more provocations. The situation is under control. All options are being discussed. Currently, no application has been submitted to the CSTO, but all options are being considered and discussed," Toghanyan said.

"The entire length of the line of contact was under intense artillery fire. Various caliber arms were used. Shots were fired in the direction of Martakert and Stepanakert. In the morning, a drone fired at a civilian bus near the Armenian city of Vardenis," Toghanyan added.
