
Azerbaijan Hit Stepanakert with Missiles Three Times, Says Artsakh Official
Artsakh Human Rights Defender Artak Beglaryan reports that Azerbaijan forces recently targeted the Artsakh capital Stepanakert with heavy missiles in three separate attacks.
"There were three attacks on Stepanakert, residential buildings were seriously damaged and there is specific data on the number wounded,” Beglaryan said, adding that the number kiled, if any, hasn't been confirmed as yet.
Yesterday, Beglaryan accused Azerbaijan of deploying cluster-type missiles prohibited by the international Convention on Cluster Munitions against the civilain population in Artsakh.
Cluster munitions are a form of air-dropped or ground-launched explosive weapons that release or eject smaller submunitions.
