Syria has called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to stop the fighting and find a peaceful solution to the Karabakh conflict according to the SANA (Syrian Arab News Agency).

In an article published today, SANA reports that the Syrian government has warned Azerbaijan not to fall into the Turkish trap of escalating tensions in the region.

The Syrian government, according to SANA, has urged Baku to respond to Armenia’s initiatives that call for calm and dialogue.
