A statement released by the Artsakh Foreign Ministry on the necessity of recognizing the independence of the Artsakh Republic has been disseminated in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

"We call on the international community to recognize the independence of the Artsakh Republic to ensure the right to life and peaceful development of the citizens of Artsakh. Under the current circumstances, the international recognition of Artsakh is the only effective mechanism for restoring peace and security in the region,” the statement reads in part.
