Armenian MP Displays Stepanakert Missile Fragment to Colleagues in Parliament

Carrying a  fragment of a rocket brought from Stepanakert, Prosperous Armenia faction Arman Abovyan approached the podium at today’s session of the Armenian National Assembly and urged his colleagues to travel to the Artsakh capital and see for themselves the aftermath of Azerbaijani rocket fire.

"This is part of the large-caliber missiles used to fire on Stepanakert and the peaceful settlements of Artsakh today. I found this fragment near the Artsakh maternity hospital. Tens of thousands of such weapons are used against civilians every day. These missiles are loaded with so-called clusters that are prohibited by all international conventions and laws," Abovyan said.

The MP stressed that the state or a terrorist organization that uses such weapons against civilians is a criminal without reservation.

Abovyan called on all those who doubt his words to go to Stepanakert and see the unexploded bombs.

He said that Azerbaijan and Turkey must stand before the International Court of Justice in The Hague and receive their just punishment.

"It has been rumored, for a second day, that Turkey is transferring militants to Azerbaijan. The news has been verified today by the head of Russia's foreign intelligence service. Our partners understand that if the terrorist Erdogan and Aliyev are not stopped, those militants will appear in Georgia, Russia, Iran, Europe, and so on," he said.
