Coronavirus infection numbers are rising in Armenia.

718 people tested positive for the virus during the past day, raising the total number of those infected to date to 54,473, of which 45,312 have emerged healthy.

Nine people died from Covid-19 during the same period according to the Ministry of Health.

The death toll now stands at 1,004.
