The newly appointed Ambassador of Ethiopia to Armenia, Kasahun Dender Melese, presented his credentials today to RA President Serzh Sargsyan.

Noting that Ethiopia is one of the countries on the African continent with which Armenia has had centuries-old relations, President Sargsyan noted that a sound basis exists for deepening and reinforcing the relations between the two peoples.

President Sargsyan attached importance to the establishment of the necessary legal framework for intensifying Armenian-Ethiopian political dialogue.

According to Ambassador Kasahun Dender Melese, Armenians have for centuries been contributing to the development of science and technologies in Ethiopia and are well regarded.
