Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and Georgian Ambassador to Armenia Giorgi Saganelidze. met in Yerevan today and discussed the ongoing fighting along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border.

Tonoyan, according to a statement released by his office, stressed that further escalation could have unforeseeable consequences for the entire region.

The meeting was requested by the Georgian ambassador.
