Artsakh Defense Army: "Artsakh will resolutely defend the security of its homeland"

The Artsakh Defense Army (ADA) issued a statement today that Azerbaijan continues to violate numerous norms and principles of international humanitarian law, international human rights, customary international law (Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Human Rights Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, Conventions of 12 August 1949, International Convention for the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries, International Customary Law, etc.).

The statement accuses Azerbaijan of resorting to the dissemination of disinformation to cover up or justify its war crimes, as well as to prepare the ground for new attacks on the civilian population.

"Artsakh will resolutely defend the security of its homeland, its people, with all its potential, as well as hold the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan accountable for its war crimes and policy of turning our region into a hotbed of international terrorism," the statement reads.
