Azerbaijani military forces launched a large-scale offensive along the northern section of the Karabakh Line of Contact this morning after a night of relative calm, this according to Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan.

Azerbaijani forces started their attack after one hour of heavy shelling.

Hovhannisyan said Armenian forces repelled several waves of Azerbaijani ground troops and inflicted heavy losses.
