Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan and US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy met today in Yerevan and discussed the latest developments in Karabakh.

Ambassador Tracy expressed concern over the non-compliance with the ceasefire agreements and hoped that the diplomatic efforts would yield results.

At the request of Ambassador Tracy, Minister Tonoyan described the situation on the battlefield and emphasized the involvement of foreign combatants and mercenaries.

Tonoyan stressed that any ceasefire would only be possible if on-site verification measures are implemented.
