Putin Says Russia is Working to End Conflict in South Caucasus

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today that Russia is doing and will continue to do everything in its power to end the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

According to TASS, Putin stated this during a meeting with representatives of religious associations.

"You know, Russia is doing everything, that depends on us, so that the conflict in the South Caucasus ends as soon as possible in order to save the lives of people who stand opposite each other and, unfortunately, still see each other in the sights of machine guns and rifles. and use weapons against each other,” he is quoted as saying.

The Russian leader expressed his conviction that the goals of the opposing sides can be achieved during the peace negotiation process.

"In any case, we are in contact with both Armenia and Azerbaijan. I hope that we will be able to achieve a result, and on such a basis that would suit all people living in the region," he concluded, focusing on achieving this by peaceful means.

Parev, It may be that the resistance of the Armenian side surprised Erdogan as well as Putin. A Palace Revolution is looming in Baku which could benefit the Pashaev clan or a cartel of disgruntled Azerbaijani generals. Putin will be forced to intervene to keep the hand on the Caucasus, despite his previous hypocritical pretexts... Hartelou yenk !
