Intense Battles Near Shushi and Along the Southeastern Frontline

Over the night of November 7-8, combat operations of mixed intensity continued in all directions of the frontline.

The most ferocious combat unfolded in the vicinity of Shushi, and in the southeastern sector.

Artsakh Defense Army ADA) hit and repulsed, with pinpoint strikes, numerous Azerbaijani attempts to advance.

The ADA reports that it destroyed a large number of hostile personnel, four tanks, twenty other armored vehicles, eleven soft-skinned vehicles, and two UAVs.

Azerbaijani forces also shelled, with artillery and rocket systems, the capital Stepanakert and Shushi, causing damage to the civilian infrastructure.

At dawn, concentrations of enemy equipment and manpower were observed at the southeastern and northeastern sectors of the frontline.

The ADA says it controls the operational and tactical situation and is taking measures to engage the enemy.

Parev, For a week in the summer of 2008, I helped to prepare the masonry work at Shushi Hospital. I sat close to the statue of a national hero on a stone bench in the Center town. The children who took the picture told me proudly that he was... Vazgen Sargsian (?). It is difficult for me to imagine that a flood of fire is falling on these same places... How hard it is to be so far away and think about them all the time...
