Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan released the following statement in light of an earlier post today by his spokesperson Vahram Poghosyan that “Shushi is completely out of the control of the Armenian forces and the existence of the capital Stepanakert is endangered.”

“Dear compatriots!

“Fighting continues throughout the Republic. The Defense Army, the militia, are firmly on the Homeland, we will fight the enemy until the end.

“Our united struggle can change the situation. We can throw the enemy out of our Artsakh because the outcome of the war is determined by the strong will of the people. The Armenian people can still show that will and determination. Each of us must stand firm in our position and a positive result will be guaranteed.

“This I believe.”
