Russia Sends Another Eighteen Planes of Equipment and Personnel for Karabakh Peacekeepers
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported today that another eighteen Il-76 Russian Air Force aircraft, transporting personnel and equipment for the Russian peacekeeping detachment in Karabakh, have arrived in Armenia.
"Russian servicemen have unloaded material assets, weapons and military equipment," the statement said.
The Russian Defense Ministry said its aircraft have already shipped 58 units of equipment (armored personnel carriers, tankers, bulldozers, etc.) to Armenia.
1,960 Russian peacekeepers are scheduled to man positions along the line of contact in Karabakh.
