Putin: All Three Of Us Wrote Karabakh Truce Document
Russian President Putin, in an interview with the Russia 1 TV channel, said that he acted as a mediator only in the November 9 ceasefire agreement on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"As for the text itself, the three of us did it. I, of course, the president (of Azerbaijan Ilham - ed.) Aliyev and the prime minister (of Armenia Nikol - ed.) Pashinyan. It was impossible in another way, because, in fact, it was an agreement between the two parties,” Putin said.
The Russian president added that the agreement on the document was "a complicated, energy-consuming process."
"In fact, I had to take on the role of mediator. I heard their demands and assertions about the text. In fact, it was an equal, adequate tripartite work," said Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with Russia 1.
