
Armenian Parliamentary Speaker Back to Work After November 10 Beating
Armenian National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan returned to work today after being attacked and beaten by members of a mob that seized the parliament on November 10.
Following the announcement of the Karabakh ceasefire, several hundred people seized the parliament building and pulled Mirzoyan from his car, demanding to know the whereabouts of Prime Minister Pashinyan.
Mirzoyan underwent several surgeries for his wounds.
The parliamentary speaker today attended a closed session with his ruling Im Kayl (My Step) factions MPs.
