Mane Tandilyan Appointed Artsakh Minister of Labor, Social Affairs and Housing
Former Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mane Tandilyan has replaced Mikayel Virabyan as Artsakh Minister of Labor, Social Affairs and Housing.
Tandilyan resigned as Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in June 2018 to protest the Pashinyan’s government’s introduction of the mandatory component of the cumulative pension system. PM Pashinyan did not accept her resignation.
Tandilyan again resigned as minister in November of the same year, to run in the December 9 snap parliamentary election on the Bright Armenia (Lusavor) ticket.
Artsakh Human Rights Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan has stated that 40,000 have been left homeless in Artsakh due to the recent war.
