Opposition Issues Ultimatum: Pashinyan Must Resign in Three Days
Sixteen Armenian extra-parliamentary and parliamentary opposition parties have demanded that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan resign in three days.
Following a rally in Yerevan’s Liberty Square, those calling for Pashinyan’s resignation marched on the Government House on Baghramyan Avenue where Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the ARF Supreme Body, issued the three-day ultimatum.
"If he does not leave by Tuesday, we will remove him. Together we must resolve this issue this week and end it," Saghatelyan said.
He threatened widespread acts of civil disobedience throughout Armenia if Pashinyan does not voluntarily step down.
