Russian peacekeepers from the Special Purpose Medical Detachment (MOSN) have created multifunctional medical teams to provide field work for military doctors in the Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh, this according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

More than sixty medical specialists work at the MOSN detachment, including military surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, therapists, and epidemiologists.
