Armenia: 7,000 AMD Fine for Smoking While Driving

Those found smoking while driving in Armenia will be fined 7,000 drams ($13.60) and will have one demerit posted on their driver’s license according to bill passed today in parliament.

Violation of traffic lights will result in the one-year loss of the right to drive.

The bill was passed at the first reading by a vote of 79 to 1.
