Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan met with Secretary General of the La Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo in Paris yesterday.

Ayvazyan and Mushikiwabo touched upon the activities of the organization amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the challenges posed by the pandemic in the Francophonie area, this according top a statement released by Ayvazyan’s office.

Ayvazyan described the post-war humanitarian crisis in Karabakh to Mushikiwabo, as well as the steps being undertaken to address it.

Ayvazyan noted the direct involvement of Turkish-sponsored terrorist groups in the war, stressing they pose a serious threat not only to the security of Armenia and Artsakh, but also of the entire region.

Ayvazyan thanked Mushikiwabo for her principled and clear position on the war unleashed against Artsakh.
