Unit of Sixty Artsakh Soldiers "Goes Missing", Says Country's Human Rights Defender
Artsakh Human Rights Defender Artak Beglaryan reports that a military unit of some sixty Armenian servicemen has “gone missing” near the Hadrut village of Khtsaberd.
Beglaryan, in a Facebook post today, says that the unit is probably the same one that appeared in a recent Azerbaijani video.
"This incident is absolutely unacceptable and must be quickly and seriously investigated by law enforcement agencies to reveal the circumstances and the culprits. All the authorized bodies of Artsakh and Armenia are obliged to take immediate steps to return all our prisoners of war home a minute in advance,” wrote Beglaryan.
