Putin Announces Trilateral Working Group to Open Trancaucasia Transport Routes

During today’s meeting in Moscow between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that a special trilateral working group will deal with the issues of unblocking economic and transport links in Transcaucasia.

"The issue of unblocking economic, trade and transport ties in the region and opening the borders deserves special attention. A special trilateral working group headed by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will deal with these issues," Putin said.

During the trilateral meeting, Putin noted that Russia in all its actions in the Karabakh issue has followed the key principles of the OSCE Minsk Group. He stressed that Russia continues to cooperate with the other countries co-chairing the OSCE Minsk Group (US, France).
