RA President Serzh Sargsyan hosted visiting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today in Yerevan.

The parties first congratulated each other on the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The sides stressed that the political dialogue between Armenia and Russia as well as cooperation in all the spheres testify the existence of strong strategic relations being reinforced more and more from year to year.

Lavrov said that the celebration of the 15th anniversary of Armenian-Russian Agreement on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Agreement will be accompanied by implementation of programs aimed at further development of bilateral cooperation.

Lavrov will be flying to Baku later on.
