Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow Will Not Interfere in Armenia's Political Developments
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, during an interview today with Gavarit Moskva (Moscow Speaks) radio station, said that Russia will not play a mediating role in Armenia’s domestic affairs.
"Our position, which we pursue in our relations with the outside world, in our foreign policy, is balanced, clear, an unequivocal. It aims to establish cooperation with individual states and international organizations. Our position is not to interfere in the internal affairs of another. It (what is happening in Armenia-ed.) is the internal affair of a sovereign state. It is a political process in that state. There can be no other assessment," Zakharova said.
