Three independent MPs in Armenia’s National Assembly have decided to create an “Artsakh Initiative” to refocus the attention of deputies on Artsakh.

Former Im Kayl (My Step) MP Taguhie Tovmasyan, now an independent deputy, said that the initiave would be the voice of Artsakh in the Armenian parliament, noting that there is already an Artsakh friendship group.

“There’s the impression that we handed it over and are done with it. But we have not forgotten. We will continue to focus our attention on Artsakh,” Tovmasyan said at today’s special parliamentary session.
