Russian Natural Gas to Armenia Via Azerbaijan
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will deliver up to 150 million cubic meters of Russian natural gas to Armenia under a March 2021 temporary deal with Gazexport LLC.
The reason, according to Gazprom Export, is ongoing maintenance of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia gas pipeline.
The Russian natural gas will first be delivered to Azerbaijan, then to Georgia, for subsequent supply to consumers in Armenia.
