A local resident has informed Hetq that a construction company, allegedly doing roadwork in the Dalma Gardens area of Yerevan, is actually dumping huge rocks on the site in a move designed to facilitate future construction.

The eyewitness, who wished to remain anonymous, said that real estate developers had long since set their sights on the Dalma Gardens as a prime construction site.

“This isn’t roadwork but the destruction of the Dalma Gardens,” he said. “The developers can now take photos and claim that the gardens never existed.”
