Truck Smuggling Puppies from Armenia to Iran Stopped

Employees at the Meghri customs checkpoint thwarted the smuggling of several breeds of puppies from Armenia into Iran.  

The puppies were concealed in a truck operated by two Iranian citizens.

Yerevan’s Vernissage market is known for its unregulated sale of puppies.
