
Armenia to Purchase Infectious Disease Vaccine for Military Conscripts
The Armenian government today announced it will purchase tularemia vaccines from the Russian Microgen company this year for use in the army.
Tularemia, a rare infectious disease also known as rabbit fever or deer fly fever, typically attacks the skin, eyes, lymph nodes and lungs.
Military conscripts and those approaching draft age will be given the vaccine.
The vaccine will be purchased at a one dose price of 109.15 Russian rubles.
