Economy Minister Says Pashinyan Government Has Improved Living Standards
Acting Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan, in an interview with Hetq, claimed that living standards have improved in the country under the Pashinyan government, arguing that incomes have increased by 35%.
Kerobyan said that the rise in personal incomes is due to government legislation raising average wages and decreasing personal income tax rates.
He said that “investments abound” in Armenia and cited the names of several investment programs but could not provide general investment amounts.
Kerobyan faulted the Statistical Committee for mismanaging the numbers.
