Yerevan Police raided an illegal poker house in the Armenian capital on July 7, detaining ten players and employees.

Police say they received a tip-off about the illegal gambling site and that drugs were being circulated.

The poker games were taking place in a Sayat Nova Street entertainment establishment.

The Department for Fighting Corruption and Economic Crimes of the Criminal Police, in a statement today, reports that the gambling house took in 5.5 billion AMD in bets during the past month.

Cops also found traces of a marijuana-like substance.
