Armenian National Assembly Elects Ishkhan Saghatelyan Deputy Speaker

The Armenian National Assembly today, by a vote of 64-37, elected Ishkhan Saghatelyan as Deputy Speaker.

The parliament failed to elect Sagatelyan on three occasions prior to today’s vote.

Saghatelyan, an ARF member, is an MP in the Hayastan (Armenia) faction headed by former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

Saghatelyan joins Hakob Arshakyan and Ruben Rubinyan as Deputy Speakers.
